A Catrine-based charity is offering exciting job opportunities for those in Ayrshire who are interested in starting a career in care.
The National Autistic Society Scotland currently runs two supported living services in Catrine, namely Catrine Bank and Daldorch House, and are on the lookout for local people to help support the valuable care the charity provides for autistic adults.
A job fayre is being run by the charity in Auchinleck, where attendees will be able to learn more about autism and the opportunities available at the organisation, as well as being offered support and advice in aspects such as how to fill out a job application form.
Jim Gardiner, who has worked as a Support Worker for the National Autistic Society in Ayrshire since 1999, said: “I love my job and being a part of something larger that makes a difference.
“Everyone cares and you have flexibility when needed. Every day is different and I get to interact with such a variety of people which means I’m always learning.”
Those interested in attending can drop in to the Boswell Centre between 11am-7pm on Thursday, November 18.
