Cumnock Juniors Community Enterprise (CJCE) organised a fantastic few days of fun for youngsters in the area during the October school holidays in the form of a three-day football camp.

There was plenty of action at the camp which ran for children aged from two up to 12 years, as all were engaged in a whole host of exciting activities.

Cumnock Chronicle:

From practicing one-on-one skills with coaches to playing games, making friends and learning new tricks, the young people were kept busy the whole time.

A CJCE spokesperson explained: “All of the kids were amazing this week, learning some new skills and making some new friends.

Cumnock Chronicle:

“Ryan McGregor did a great job pre-organising. The camp was a great success and was well supported by young coaches from our Leadership group again.

“Thanks also to Scott Guy from Active Schools for his support.

Cumnock Chronicle:

“We had mini-kickers aged two to five for one hour each day, then the full camp, with kids aged five to 12, were in from 10am-3pm.

“The camp ran for three days, Tuesday until Thursday.”

Cumnock Chronicle:

They continued: “A lot of kids who attend are regulars. They love it so much that they keep coming back.

“Our football camps have been a great success over the years with many kids coming from all ages.”

Cumnock Chronicle:

Well done to all involved from everyone at the Cumnock Chronicle.
