A MAN has been jailed for eight months after pleading guilty to a charge of sexual exposure after he was allegedly spotted naked in Cumnock earlier this year.

Back in July, we reported on how 30-year-old Jamie Hall was charged with the offence, which is believed to have taken place at Glaisnock Mansion House on Friday, July 23.

He initially pleaded not guilty and was refused bail.

However, on August 26, Hall pleaded guilty to an amended charge at Ayr Sheriff Court and he was sentenced to 34 weeks imprisonment, commencing from July 26, 2021.

Hall was previously caged for 15 months back in 2018 following a breach of his community payback order when he committed a sex act on three separate occasions in public places in Cumnock.

These incidents included exposing himself in front of two women at Cumnock’s public library, on Greenholm Road, in May 2015 and a month later, conducting himself in a disorderly manner when he concealed himself in the long grass in the wooded area of Wood Road Park, partially clothed.

He made comments at a then 11-year-old girl.
