Mauhcline litter pick
Mauchline Young Farmers Club spent a sunny but cold afternoon cleaning up the community this week.
The “highly enthusiastic team” started from Stair Community Centre and split into groups, litter pickers in hand, to collect an impressive 30 bags of rubbish.
Member, Harry Bell, said: “We all absolutely loved our day and felt fulfilled at the end of it knowing we all did a little to help the community. Someone was even lucky enough to find a £20 note.”
The club is continuing the kind gestures by hosting a Tea Bingo on Thursday, October 21 at 7.30pm at Ochiltree Community Hub.
