Cumnock manager Tony McInally was thrilled to see his side claim a massive victory over Pollok at the weekend, but insists his players have to make it a regular occurrence.
A Smart Osadolor goal in the second half at Townhead Park was enough to ensure that all three points stayed in Cumnock.
The win means Cumnock have four wins and four defeats from their opening eight games, while scoring 10 and conceding 10 in the process.
McInally says his side deserved the win on Saturday and should have won more convincingly.
He is now challenging his players to find some consistency in their performances.
He told the Chronicle: “It’s a brilliant win for us against a team who are mixing it at the top of the table.
“We had a game plan and it worked a treat, the players executed it perfectly.
“Maybe on another day we would’ve won a bit more handsomely but I’m sure that will come.
“The challenge for the boys is to find that consistency and make wins like that a more regular occurrence.
“If we do that, then who knows where this season could take us.”
