A number of Ayrshire sides learnt their fate in the Scottish Cup draw earlier on today.

The preliminary round draw saw West of Scotland Football League sides Auchinleck Talbot, Darvel, Cumnock Juniors, Irvine Meadow and Girvan learn who they'll be facing on Saturday, August 28.

Or not, as was the case for Talbot, Darvel and Cumnock, who progressed to the first round without having to even kick a ball, as they were one of 15 clubs to receive a bye into the next round.

Irvine Meadow, who were drawn at home, will play East of Scotland Premier League oufit Musselburgh Athletic.

Girvan will travel to Edinburgh to take on Tynecastle, also of the East Premier.
