There was an attempted break-in at Cumnock's Townhead Community Sports Hub this morning, in what is now the third time the Hub has been targetted.
The facility, which is home to Cumnock Juniors Community Enterprise (CJCE), alleges that in the early hours of this morning (July 22) two males attempted to break in. Their efforts were unsuccessful.
CJCE claim the individuals were "hanging around" on Townhead Street between 2:49am and 2:59am and are urging drivers who may have passed through the area at the time to come forward with any information.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of an attempted break-in at a property on Townhead Street around 3.45am on Thursday, July 22.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
