Attempted break-in takes place in early hours of morning in Mauchline
An attempted break-in took place in Mauchline this morning.
In the early hours of this morning (July 15) there was an attempted break-in in the Sunnyside Crescent area of the village. Enquiries are ongoing.
It comes after a car was stolen between Wednesday night and this morning, just two minutes away on Jean Armour Drive. It is yet unclear as to whether there is a link between the two incidents.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We have received a report of an attempted break-in which took place in the Sunnyside Crescent area of Mauchline, in the early hours of Thursday, July 15.
"Enquiries into the matter are at an early stage.”
