There were lots of celebrations this week for a Patna couple who were toasting to 50 happy years together.
Jim and Jan Gerrard of Carnshalloch Avenue marked their golden wedding anniversary alongside friends, family and even a visit from Councillor Drew Filson.
Banners adorned the garden fence and a bouquet was presented to the pair who posed for a few special photos.
