The innovators over at Mossgiel Organic Farm in Mauchline have created another eco-friendly partnership - this time having a Mossgiel vending machine installed at a new state-of-the-art learning hub at University of Glasgow.
This year, the James McCune Smith Learning Hub opened as part of the University of Glasgow vision, with the catering team expressing a desire to drive single use plastic from the modern space.
Together, Mossgiel and those at the university installed a vending machine for everyone to use, helping to save thousands of plastic, single use milk bottles per year.
On Facebook, Mossgiel said: “We’re delighted to be working with such an awesome institution together to rid ourselves of the single-use plastic menace.”
