Missing person 'traced safe and well' after heavy police presence around Mauchline
A missing person has been traced 'safe and well' following a heavy police presence in and around Mauchline this afternoon.
There were reports of a helicopter circling overhead and police cars and vans parked up at various spots in the area including around Howford Bridge and Sorn Road today [Tuesday, June 8].
Cops have confirmed that the police activity was related to a concern for person call which has now been resolved. The person has been traced safe and well.
