Three kind-hearted ladies scaled Scotland’s highest mountain on Saturday to raise money for Cumnock-based charity Create a Smile Scotland (CASS).

Ashley, Shirley and June made the climb on Saturday, May 29 and raised £470.

On their fundraising page, the women said: “CASS is run by the most inspirational woman who does so much for everyone. During the pandemic, they have helped to deliver meals, provided emergency food parcels and delivered home baking each week to older members of the community.”

CASS congratulated the women, saying: “Thank you so much ladies - we truly appreciate you choosing our charity to raise funds for. Hope you all enjoy a wee relaxing night now as you all deserve it.”
