Today should be a day for celebration. 

It’s the first time in months that we’ve been allowed to step foot inside a shop, a cafe, a restaurant - and yet, the true colours of so many Scots have come out in just a few hours.

It seems that every minute I’ve been cringing into myself as social media became awash with people shaming those who have been queuing for stores like Primark. Don’t get me wrong, the queues are seemingly endless.

People were there before I had even thought about getting ready for work. But shouldn’t that be something to get excited about?
