Exciting news as East Ayrshire Leisure is open for business, with staff ready to welcome everyone back as restrictions are lifted and lockdown eases even more.

East Ayrshire Leisure is reopening many of its venues and resuming its services from today, Monday, April 26, a date which marks the beginning of a fresh start for 2021 with gyms, libraries, swimming pools and museums all reopening up to the public.

Dean Castle Country Park’s Treehouse Café, the Burns House Museum, Baird Institute and both galleries at the Dick Institute are all looking forward to seeing visitors return.

You can also book outdoor fitness classes which are taking place at William McIlvanney, Loudoun and Doon Valley Leisure Centres as well as Rose Reilly Sports Centre until the guidelines allow indoor group exercise to resume.

The booking system is live, meaning residents can book their gym session online with slots available up to seven days in advance.

Keen swimmers will be glad to know that pools are also open from today. Lane swimming must be booked through the venues.

For those who are desperate to get back among the books, East Ayrshire Library Services are busy preparing to reopen with lots of new stock filling up the library shelves including over 2,000 new titles to choose from. The library doors open tomorrow, Tuesday, April 27.
