A CYCLIST is in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries after a road crash that involved a van.
A 999 response was prompted to the scene on Station Road in Bearsden at 4.30pm yesterday.
The 47-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision - which involved a Volkswagen Caddy van - to come forward.

Sergeant Ally Johnson, of Police Scotland’s Glasgow Road Policing Unit, said: “A man has sustained serious injuries as a result of this incident and we are looking for assistance from the public to establish the full circumstances.
“If you were in the area at the time of the crash and have any information that could assist with our enquiries please get in contact with police.
“I would also ask if anyone driving in the area has possible dashcam footage that they get in contact with officers.
