Cumnock's Townhead Community Sports Hub has been broken in to and stolen from.

The facility allegedly had thousands of pounds worth of goods stolen from it this morning (April 10).

The Cumnock Juniors Community Enterprise has this week been running one of their most successful youth football camps ever.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.55am on Saturday, 10 April, officers received a report of a break-in and theft from a premises on Townhead Street, Cumnock.

“Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing".
