Couple celebrate special Golden wedding anniversary in lockdown
A COUPLE from Stevenston celebrated a special Golden wedding anniversary under lockdown earlier in the month.
Andy Davidson and wife Elizabeth recently marked the wedding anniversary on Saturday, March 6 after tying the knot aged 18 and 17 at the Barony Church in Ardrossan.
Andy said: “We had a quiet day but the family brought us afternoon tea and left it at the doorstep. We had a party planned and obviously it had to be cancelled but hopefully we’ll do it next year.
“For me the secret to a happy marriage is just doing what I’m told, but we’re both great pals as well. When we’re off out, we’re out together.”
