A76 between New Cumnock and Kirkconnel closes due to road accident
The A76 between New Cumnock and Kirkconnel closed this morning, January 12, due to a road traffic crash.
The accident happened around 8.46am after a lorry overturned, causing one lane of the road to be blocked.
There have been no reports of injuries.
Traffic Scotland have since confirmed that the road has reopened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers attended a one vehicle road traffic crash on the A76 between Kirkconnel and New Cumnock around 8.46am today.
"One lorry overturned and one lane of the road was blocked."
