The cold snap we've been enduring is set to last a little longer yet, with temperatures due to remain around freezing for the next three days according to the Met Office.
The roads and pavements have iced up across the area with reports coming in of pedestrians taking tumbles and vehicles becoming stranded on untreated roads.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, led by East Ayrshire Council, is out and about gritting priority roads, with gritters Snowdrop, Ice Destroyer, and Arianna Gritty covering roads in the last six hours, but due to a lack of manpower and resources are unable to cover every patch of ice.
Across East Ayrshire, volunteers have been taking to the street to spray the pavement with salt so that others can safely walk along them.
With that in mind, below are some images that show where the nearest grit bin is in your location.
Auchinleck
Catrine
Cumnock
Drongan
Logan and Lugar
Mauchline
Muirkirk
Netherthird
Ochiltree
Sorn
