Pupils across East Ayrshire have been taking part in online conferences on celebrating diversity and lockdown mental health.
Vibrant Communities’ annual youth conferences, attended by students from P7 to S6, were moved online due to coronavirus restrictions.
Younger pupils focussed on celebrating diversity, making a pledge to challenge discrimination.
The senior youth conference tried out some self-help tools used to deal with anxiety, such as breathing exercises.
Workshops were presented by members of East Ayrshire Council’s Children and Young People’s Cabinet.
Students also had the chance to feedback on the council’s work throughout the pandemic and make suggestions for future recovery and regeneration.
