The staff and animals at Clark’s Little Ark in Sanquhar are grateful for the support received from the Dumfries and Galloway Community Payback scheme.
The team helped dig out earth, clay, and bricks (by hand) for the placement of a new hay storage shed and a winter shelter made from pallets for the animals. The team worked tirelessly building the shelter, providing a warm and dry home for the animals to use during the winter.
Clark’s Little Ark is still open to the public free of charge, thanks in large part to the support they receive from groups like the Community Payback group, however they are only open on weekends from 11am-4pm.
