Ayrshire College’s Class of 2020 graduates with unique virtual ceremony
STUDENTS across Ayrshire graduated last week in a unique virtual format.
Ayrshire College’s Class of 2020 officially celebrated their achievements with a graduation ceremony unlike any other.
Instead of the usual gatherings of three events held in East, North and South Ayrshire, students instead donned their gowns to graduate at home.
Non-returning HNC and HND students tuned in live to virtual ceremonies held on Friday, November 6 at 7.30pm. Hosted by WestFM breakfast DJ Billy Kirkwood viewers were surprised with messages of congratulations from lecturers and even Nicola Sturgeon.
