A police investigation has been launched after a man was attacked just after midnight last night.
The 28-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment after the Newlands Road assault.
Officers were called to the scene around 12.05am on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police received reports of a 28-year-old man having been assaulted on Newlands Road in Glasgow around 12.05am on Monday, 21 September, 2020.
“Officers attended and the man was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 0013 of September 21.
