A Catrine couple celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary this week - completed with a special royal telegram delivered by their postie granddaughter.
George and Isobel Templeton were joined by friends and family at The Fairburn Hotel in Mauchline to mark the special date and were delighted to receive a congratulatory message from Queen Elizabeth which was personally delivered by their own granddaughter Gillian Dick, a local postie.
Their great-granddaughter Josephine Leitch also presented them with a bouquet of flowers - meaning four generations were at the lunch to wish them all the best.
