A WARNING has been issued by cops after they were alerted to scammers in Clydebank.
Officers are on the hunt for crooks posing as bogus workmen in the town's Osborne Street.
Police say they were in the area at around 4pm yesterday. It is not clear if there were able to make-off with any cash or if they are still in active.

Locals in West Dunbartonshire are being urged to take care and be on the lookout for scammers in the coming days.

A police spokesman said: "We are appealing for witnesses due to a report of bogus workmen on Osborne Street in the Radnor Park area of Clydebank, around 4.07pm on 3rd August 2020.
"Any information please call 101 and quote incident number 2222 of Wednesday, August 3."
