A MAN has been rushed to hospital after a four-car crash on the M8 near Glasgow Airport today.
Cops shut down the road at Junction 29a, on the outskirts of Bishopton, Renfrewshire, after the smash at around 4pm.

Traffic was brought to a standstill for around an hour as officers probed the incident and officers have now confirmed a man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We received a report of a four-vehicle crash on the M8, junction 29 west bound around 3.50pm on Friday, 31 July, 2020.
“One man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed for around an hour to allow for the uplift of the vehicles involved.”
It comes a day after the road was shut down by police when a lorry hit a bridge at the same junction.
Tailbacks formed at rush hour as the incident brought traffic to a standstill.
The road reopened fully around three hours later as cops launched a probe, saying they believed a heavy good vehicle had hit the bridge.
