West kilbride
President of the Rotary Club of Hunterston Derek Andrews recently visited the West Kilbride Environmental Group at their Garratt Gardens site to hand over a very generous award.
Derek presented the group chairman Bill Cleeve with a Rotary Community Award for £200 to assist with their work in keeping West Kilbride attractive with flowers and shrubs.
Bill and some of his volunteers were pleased to show Derek around their greenhouse and nursery where plants are grown for replanting around the village.
The West Kilbride Environmental group were very thankful for the donation and look forward to putting it to good use.
