The Seasalt Gardeners have been busy bees over the last couple of weeks taking on the planters and raised beds at the shore front.

They normally meet within the Argyle Community Centre but due to Lockdown the group have not been able to meet.

Once some of the restrictions had been lifted the group met back up and decided to take on Community Gardening Projects.

The group members weeded and rejuvenated the soil in both the planters and raised bed and planned out how each one was going to look.

The group were donated flowers for the planters from North Ayrshire Council Streetscene which then gave the group the opportunity to do their own display within the planters.

The Argyle Community Centre funded the groups plans for the raised bed after the group had chosen plants which are more suited to all seasons and weather conditions due to the location of the raised bed.

Seasalt Gardeners would like to take this opportunity to thank the Argyle Community Centre and Streetscene for their kind donations.
