Staff at the Visions Leisure Centre in Auchinleck are gearing up for a return to action by offering online fitness sessions.

Whilst still unable to re-open as per the Scottish Government coronavirus guidance, the local health hub is hoping to re-engage its customers through a series of online workshops.

The workshops are free for all, details about how to sign up are available on their Facebook page. Classes vary from stretching and toning to pilates and cardio.

The Centre’s Meryl Baird said: “All at Visions Leisure Centre are eagerly awaiting the Scottish Government’s next update in the hope that gyms and pools will get the go ahead to re-open.

“We hope to reopen in the near future and look forward to seeing all our customers in the centre again.”

In anticipation of that announcement the centre is undertaking both interior and exterior alterations to the building to “ensure the centre re-opens with the safety of all our customers and staff as a priority.”

One change they have revealed is that they have acquired some Heras fencing for the centre.

They plan to use it as an enclosure to allow outdoor bootcamps.
