Volunteers from Beith Trust and St Bridget’s Primary set up their stations at the Kilbirnie school on Friday, July 10 where they invited the community to come and collect a food bag if they needed one.
Beith Trust have been delivering food packages with some help from volunteers at the Garnock Hub during the lockdown every week and the community have been loving it.
The food stations provided fresh fruit and some delicious bakery loafs as well as some large bags of potatoes and other fresh produce.
A tweet from Shona PNS read: “Thank you for coming today, great turn out.
“Back Tuesday and Friday next week. Thank you to all volunteers and Beith Trust and Garnock Hub.”
Well done!
