A boy has been given a warning after a teenager was attacked and reportedly robbed of a three-figure sum in his Maybole flat.
Police confirmed today that the 14-year-old has been given a warning in connection in an attack in the early hours of Saturday morning - which it is understood left the victim requiring hospital treatment.
Police say enquiries are still ongoing into allegations of theft during the incident in Castle Street which it is claimed to be around £170.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said today [Tuesday, July 14] that the 14-year-old boy has been given a warning in connection with an assault which happened at Castle Street in Maybole on Saturday, July 11.
They added: "Enquiries are still ongoing into a report of theft of money."
