Cumnock History Group wants to research the past of farming communities in the local area.
CUMNOCK’S History Group are looking for local farmers to help them with their latest project.
They are researching farms and farming life in the Cumnock, boosted by funds from the National Lottery and Coalfield Communities Landscape Partnership.
Farming families in the parishes of Cumnock, New Cumnock, Auchinleck and Ochiltree have been invited to share their memories and stories of farming life. They are also seeking volunteer researchers.
