PRINCES Square has announced it will reopen on Monday at 10am.

The Buchanan Street shopping mall has introduced social distancing measures of two metres between guests across the mall and in individual retailers.

There will be a restriction on the number of guests in stores at any one time – this will be on the store window, as each unit has a different capacity and number of staff.

Guests may need to queue for stores and there will be clear signage on where to stand to enter the shop, the changing room and at the till.

Princes Square has spacious surroundings and they will work to ensure high standards of cleanliness; there are automatic doors and hand sanitisers will be positioned at entrances.

To travel between floors, the escalator has been clearly marked and the lifts are for a maximum of one person or a family. Customers will be asked to use the Buchanan Street entrances for now; customer toilets will be open with soap and hot water for hand-washing and wearing face masks will be mandatory, as per government advice.

The restaurants within Princes Square and hair salon Vidal Sassoon will reopen on July 15. Restaurants will be operating at different times and diners should check with the individual restaurants for their opening hours.

Restaurant bookings are open for all 12 eateries in the mall and they will stagger bookings to accommodate diners.
