Primary 7 pupils were invited back to Winton Primary on Wednesday, June 24 to celebrate the end of their time at primary school.

The children and staff had a delicious carry out lunch together and afterwards made a video of their socially distanced class photo as the school employed a drone to take aerial shots of them.

During the day the kids also got to see the special video messages from Primary 1 children they had buddied throughout the year.

As part of the leavers day, they had a prize giving where the teachers awarded a range of prizes, both academic and community based ones. As the children were not allowed to have their polo shirts signed, they were given a piece of paper which all the staff had already signed for them.

All of the brilliant staff then came to form a ‘ guard of honour’ in the playground to ‘clap the children’ out of school one last time as they headed off to start their new chapter.

Good luck boys and girls!
