The owner of a one-year-old Shih Tzu is looking for her after she went missing in Cumnock over the weekend.

Ellie Hamilton said her dog, Bella, went missing on Saturday, July 4 at 6:15pm after she disappeared under the Viaduct in Cumnock. Bella's owner believes her dog could be in the Wylie or Barshare area.

Bella, who is a black dog, has been missing for over 24 hours and her owner is desperate for any information on the whereabouts of her beloved pet.

On a Facebook post, Ellie said: "We lost her under the Viaduct. She went a different way instead of going up the steps. Started heading to Murray and then realised she'd gone so she's possibly in Wylie or in the Viaduct Barshare way.

"She listens and she's friendly. If you see her please pick her up and contact me."
