Man in custody after facing assault and robbery charge
A man has been held in custody charged with alleged assault after a takeaway raid.
Alistair Kilgour appeared from custody after being arrested and charged in connection with a robbery at a takeaway in Mossblown on Saturday, May 30.
The 37-year-old faced a single charge of assault and robbery when he appeared in private at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, June 22.
Kilgour, whose address was listed as Kilmarnock, entered no plea to the charge and was committed for further examination.
He was remanded in custody and will return to Ayr Sheriff Court at a later date.
