Competitive STUDENTS at KGstarDance have taken part in a Lockdown Action Shot challenge to keep them fit and focused.
The dance school, which specialises in stage and competitive freestyle classes, took on the challenge as a way of keeping positive during the current crisis. The idea was to pose mid-dance at different scenic spots across East Ayrshire.
The challenge has taken them from Muirkirk to New Cumnock.
Kirsty Muir Graham, Principal at KGstarDance, said: “The girls are used to training up to six times a week so we’re trying to keep them active. Each month we set challenges so May’s challenge was to take a lockdown action shot where you go to a different spot or area, think about the scenery and create a picture around that.
“It didn’t need to be dancing, just so long as they were using their creativity and thinking about technique.
“The results were absolutely outstanding. I cried multiple times. We’ve got five to 17 year-olds.
“They’ve done Ayrshire proud.”
