East Ayrshire Council’s chief executive paid a visit to Netherthird Community Centre last week to thank all of the volunteers for their endless dedication.
Fiona Lees visited the Netherthird COVID-19 Resilience Hub on Thursday, June 4 and each volunteer received a special thank you card.
Volunteers at the Hub also had a visit from Alan, the community engagement officer from Shire Housing Association, who announced the association had donated £1000 to the Emergency Food Hampers.
Senga McCulloch delivered delicious meals that were made at Riverside Adult Education Centre to help give the older residents a treat to cheer them up during these difficult times.
The Netherthird COVID-19 hub received a generous donation of £300 from Lynne Jeffery who is a solicitor at DW Shaw in Cumnock along with Zed from F and R Stores who also donates food every week.
Thanks to all.
