A humongous worm has been spotted in the Woodroad Park, Cumnock.
This is no ordinary worm though, this worm is made of painted stones, first placed on Tuesday, May 19, by Neve, Fern and Grace. The sisters, aged eight, four, and one respectively, began the project with the help of their mum Corrine.
The idea is for those visiting the woodland to add their own painted stone to increase the length of the worm even further. At the last count, the Woodroad Worm was 353 stones long.
Corrine said: “It’s like an outdoor art gallery looking at them all, the work that’s been put into them and another piece of the lockdown story.”
