EAST Ayrshire Provost Jim Todd joined inspirational women last week to support female veterans.
The Provost attended an event at Poppy Scotland in Kilmarnock last week along with North Ayrshire Provost Ian Clarkson as they celebrated International Women’s Day.
Also in attendance was guest speaker MBE Suzanne Fernando, a former servicewoman.
Suzanne said: “I’ve always felt passionate about supporting our female veterans, having needed help myself and still do.”
