East Ayrshire Pipe Band Academy have been presented with four brand new sets of bagpipes, thanks to East Ayrshire Cumnock and Doon Valley Minerals Trust.
Three classes have graduated onto bagpipes for the first time.
EPIC held two ‘Big Bagpipe Kick Start Weekends’, one in Mauchline’s Centre Stane and one in Netherthird Community Centre for students that hail from all over Cumnock and Doon Valley.
Project Manager Paul Warren said: “The students have all worked incredibly well. We thank the Minerals Trust for their generous support.”
