A PRESTWICK pub has offered a reward to anyone who can help find the crook who broke into their premises.
Popular nightspot the Buf on the town’s Main Street was targeted by a thief, believed to be a male on Sunday morning.
The bar shared an appeal to punters to help them find the crook.
A post on their Facebook read: “We were broken into at 5:14am. The guy must be local as he arrived in a push bike. We reckon he is between 45 and 65 years old.
“He is very recognisable glasses on his face. So he wears quite big glasses and rides a bike and stays locally. If anyone can get us this man’s name then they will be rewarded financially.”
Police have launched a probe after the weekend break in.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that they received a report of a break in to the Buf Licensed premises, Main Street, Prestwick on the morning of Sunday, March 8. Enquires are ongoing at this time.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Connor, U581 at Ayr police station quoting incident number 1518 of the 08/03/2020.”
