RESIDENTS in East Ayrshire could face a rise of four per cent in council tax this year.
It comes as the budget proposals for 2020/21 are announced by East Ayrshire Council.
Last year council tax brought £60.3 million to the local authority, almost 20 per cent of their annual income.
Council Tax in East Ayrshire rose by four per cent in 2019/20.
Residents can now have their say on the budget with a consultation being held up until February 21.
