New Cumnock Scouts recently had the pleasure of visiting the Air Traffic Control tower at Prestwick Airport.
The members had a great time and found it very interesting.
They also visited the Mountain and sea rescue helicopter base at Monkton as well. Youngsters were given a tour of the base and were shown how the helicopters operate and the vast area that they cover.
They also posed for a picture in front of one of the amazing aircrafts.
A fantastic day was had by all and the scouts want to thank all who made it possible.
