CUMNOCK residents are learning how to help wildlife next month.

Come and create your own bird box with the Dean Castle Country Park Rangers on Tuesday, February 11.

Kits are provided, every child gets a box and the Rangers will teach all about the importance of housing our feathered friends.

At the end of the session, you will be able to take your bird box home and place it in your own garden.

You can also join the rangers for a Bird Feeder Workshop on Wednesday, February 12.

Create a feast for the birds using totally natural materials as well as recycling a boring milk carton into a fantastic feeder to take home. All equipment and seed provided (please note these sessions are not suitable for allergy sufferers).

Sessions 1-2pm and 2.30-3.30pm each day and cost £5 per child.
