KIND youngsters are keeping the community warm this winter with their latest project.

The caring pupils from Netherthird Primary School are organising a Jacket Drop and Swap event in the run up to the cold winter weather.

They have teamed up with Netherthird Community Centre after recognising that this time of year can be really expensive for families.

Now as part of their work with money and budgeting for a family, they have decide d to try to relieve some of the pressure on families in their local community.

Miss Clapperton, Principal Teacher at the school said: “Pupils in the school ar e so keen to help in their communit y and ar e workin g hard to try to alleviate some of the burden on people at this time of year. They would be delighted for any support offered.”

If you have a jacket with lots of wear left in it that yo u would like to give, donations can be handed in to Netherthir d Community Centre or to Netherthird Primary School.

They will be sorted and ready to be collecte d by families in December.

All sizes from baby to adult will be gladly accepted.
