POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault.
The incident happened around 10.10pm on Saturday, November 16, in the Dalblair Road area.
A 46-year-old man was standing outside a bar when he was assaulted.
As a result he sustained serious injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
Officers are seeking help from anyone who may have seen the attack and the man responsible.
The suspect is described as white, stocky build, balding and aged in his 40s.
He was wearing a Puffa style light coloured jacket with dark sleeves, skinny jeans and light coloured trainers with a black design. He was also carrying a beanie hat.
