INTERNATIONAL musicians are heading to Cumnock for a major concert next year.

Some of the UK’s best-loved performers will descend on Dumfries House for a two-night run of shows in March next year.

X Factor stars Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald will perform at An Evening From The West End at Dumfries House.

They will be alongside Ryan Molloy, star of the West End, Broadway, The Royal Variety Show who played Frankie Valli in The Jersey Boys in London and New York.

Bailey was X Factor winner in 2013 and attained UK Top 40 Christmas No.1 that year, while McDonald, from Wishaw, finished runner-up on the show in the same year.

Tickets for next year’s run, on March 13 and 14, go on sale on Monday, November 25 at 9am, with information on how to purchase to be published on Dumfries House’s social media channels.

Tickets are available at £22 for show tickets, with £59 briefs including a three-course banquet followed by the show, and £89 tickets including a champagne meet-and-greet with the performers in addition to the meal and show. Accommodation at the estate’s five-star bed and breakfast Dumfries House Lodge is also available to ticket-holders at preferential rates.

Evan Samson, hospitality manager at Dumfries House, said: “Following the success of our ‘West End’ event earlier this year, we’re delighted to bring three top names to East Ayrshire in Sam, Nicholas, and Ryan, whom we’re sure will wow the crowds.”

From modest beginnings, Dumfries House is now the second-largest employer in East Ayrshire with more than 250 full-time and part-time staff across the house, estate and education and training programmes.
