Muirkirk man arrested for firearm offences
A man was arrested in Muirkirk for firearms offences.
Acting on intelligence, Police Scotland officers, along with the National Crime Agency under the Organised Crime Partnership, carried out a search of a property in Muirkirk on Thursday, November 14.
A Police Spokesman said: "Following a detailed search, a 41-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of a variety of firearms offences.
"He was released on an undertaking to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, 9 December, 2019.
"There is no ongoing threat to the community or wider community impact."
