CUMNOCK is set to discover ancient Egypt thanks to an exciting new exhibition.
A series of talks have taken place at the Baird Institute with the final talk, Doon the Nile with Claire Gilmour taking place on Saturday 23 November at 2pm.
They focus on three pioneering Scottish figures who had a major impact on archaeology and Egyptology.
Don’t miss your chance to hear how Alexander Henry Rhind, Annie Abernethie Pirie Quibell, and Charles Piazzi Smyth made a difference to our understanding of life in Ancient Egypt from one of our museum staff.
This event is free but ticketed.
For more information or to book visit contact the Baird Institute on 01290 427084.
This exhibition is part of National Museums Scotland Touring-Ancient Egypt and East Asia National Programme.
